With tears in her eyes, Ruth read this facebook post to me from her sister, Mychelle, to their mom, Carrie. It is worth repeating because it oozes with What Matters Most and a godly daughter who gets it:
Even though you are so very far away from all your kids and grandkids, know that we are thinking of you and loving you. Wish we could hug your neck or sit and have coffee with you but God has asked that you sacrifice in this area. And even though it is tough sometimes, I pray God blesses you for all the sacrifices you have made and I hope you understand how proud we are of you. Not many moms and grandmoms could do what you do. You are a wonderful example of service to the Lord, and I am more than happy to share you with all the people whose paths you cross, who need your special touch. I love you, Mom Hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day. You deserve it.
