Paul had BIG muscles with gratitude.

In Today We Are Rich by Tim Sanders there is a chapter entitled “Exercise your gratitude muscle”. The basis for the chapter is a quote by his grandmother: “You’ve got to give your gratitude muscle a workout everyday . . .” (p. 110) It got me thinking about Scripture and how Paul was strong in gratitude. Almost every letter he wrote, you will find him being grateful for God/circumstances/people. He did not just live it out for us but called us to do it:

Ephesians 5:20 – “Giving thanks always”

I Thessalonians 5:18 – “In everything give thanks”

Paul had big muscles with gratitude because he exercised them often.

Are we strong in gratitude?
