“He is a hero to our Nation, the Army and his family.”

In our church family this week, death struck. One of our parents loss their 26 year old son, Jeremy (picture below). He died in Afghanistan fighting the war against terrorism. He was on his 8th tour of duty. You can read his story here.

As I thought about the family and what I have been writing on lately (Generous with Gratitude), it reminded me to be grateful for those who are serving our country and the families who are sending their kids to the front lines.  Romans 13:7 says, give “honor to whom honor is owed”. So today, I honor Jeremy and say “thank you” to his family for their sacrifice for our freedom.
