Unplugging for the sake of Christ

For the last week and a few days I have unplugged from email/facebook/twitter/blogging. The 3 reasons I chose to do this is . . .

1. Relationship with Christ – My brother was fasting from something one time and I ask him why he was doing it (thinking it was a pretty insignificant thing) and he said, “To make sure that there was never anything in his life that controlled him outside of Christ”. This challenged me to “guard my heart” against anything that can control me even good things. Proverbs 4:23 – Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

2. Check the blog tomorrow . . .
