Following Jesus is not a solo journey.

“Paul wanted Timothy to accompany him.” – Acts 16:3

Following Jesus is not a solo journey.

The more I study Scripture the more I find people taking others with them on their spiritual journey. I fear in our “individualistic” society that we think opposite of the way Scripture calls us to think and live. Our journey becomes about us and not inviting others to come along with us.

Here is some ideas to make this a reality:

Rather than going to another Bible Study, what about inviting someone to go through the Bible Study you just finished with you?

Rather than visiting the widows or going to the hospital on your own, invite someone to go with you?

Rather than reading through that book of the Bible alone, invite someone to read it with you?

Paul wanted Timothy to go with him. Who do you want to come with you as you follow Christ?
