Why world missions is not optional

So now you know we are rich based on Scripture (check out my last post) but there is still this doubt in the back of your mind if world missions is really your deal or just for the “super spiritual” people.

When we begin to think this way, the Holy Spirit takes the scalpel of God’s Word and cuts straight to the heart with this verse . . .

“To whom much is given, of him much will be required . . .” (Luke 12:48)

Do you have much? Yes you do!

Then much will be required of you.

So what is the goal of the much you have been given?

“Repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations.” (Luke 24:47)

This is why world missions is not optional in a believer’s life.

I like how John Piper puts it in regards to the options in missions: “Go, Send or Disobey!”
